Chapter 21

3.1
For you meet him with the blessings of goodness. You set a crown of fine gold on his head. He asked life of you and you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.
5.1
His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.
6.1
For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.
7.1
For the king trusts in Yahweh. Through the loving kindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.
8.1
Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you. You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger.
10.1
Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them. You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.
11.1
For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.
12.1
For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.
13.1
Be exalted, Yahweh, in your strength, so we will sing and praise your power.

Chapter 22

1.1
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?
2.1
My God, I cry in the daytime, but you don’t answer; in the night season, and am not silent. But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.
4.1
Our fathers trusted in you. They trusted, and you delivered them.
5.1
They cried to you, and were delivered.
5.2
They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.
6.1
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people. All those who see me mock me.
7.1
They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying, “He trusts in Yahweh. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”
9.1
But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.
10.1
I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me. Don’t be far from me, for trouble is near. For there is no one to help.
12.1
Many bulls have surrounded me.

1
The king rejoices in your strength, Yahweh! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!
The[H1732] king[H4428] rejoices[H8055] in[H1732] your[H1732] strength,[H5797] Yahweh![H3068] How[H4100] greatly[H3966] he[H1732] rejoices[H8055] in[H1732] your[H1732] salvation![H3444]
2
You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.
You[H4100] have[H3068] given[H8055] him[H8055] his[H3068] heart’s[H5315] desire,[H8378] and[H3068] have[H3068] not[H3808] withheld[H4513] the[H3068] request[H1246] of[H4428] his[H3068] lips.[H8193]
3
For you meet him with the blessings of goodness. You set a crown of fine gold on his head.
For[H5414] you[H5414] meet[H7122] him[H5414] with[H3820] the[H5414] blessings[H1293] of[H3820] goodness.[H2898] You[H5414] set[H5414] a[H5414] crown[H5850] of[H3820] fine[H5560] gold[H2091] on[H5414] his[H5414] head.[H7218]
4
He asked life of you and you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.
He[H3588] asked[H7592] life[H5315] of[H7218] you[H3588] and[H7218] you[H3588] gave[H5414] it[H3588] to[H2896] him,[H7896] even[H3588] length[H753] of[H7218] days[H3117] forever[H5769] and[H7218] ever.[H5769]
5
His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.
His[H5414] glory[H3519] is[H3117] great[H1419] in[H3117] your[H5414] salvation.[H3444] You[H5414] lay[H5414] honor[H3519] and[H3117] majesty[H1926] on[H3117] him.[H5414]
6
For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.
For[H5921] you[H5921] make[H7737] him[H5921] most[H6944] blessed[H1288] forever.[H5769] You[H5921] make[H7737] him[H5921] glad[H8055] with[H5921] joy[H5921] in[H5921] your[H5921] presence.[H5921]
7
For the king trusts in Yahweh. Through the loving kindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.
For[H3588] the[H6440] king[H6440] trusts[H982] in[H6440] Yahweh.[H3068] Through[H3588] the[H6440] loving[H157] kindness[H2617] of[H6440] the[H6440] Most[H1293] High,[H1116] he[H3588] shall[H6440] not[H3588] be[H6440] moved.[H4131]
8

Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.

Your[H3068] hand[H3027] will[H3068] find[H4672] out[H3318] all[H3068] of[H4428] your[H3068] enemies.[H341] Your[H3068] right[H3068] hand[H3027] will[H3068] find[H4672] out[H3318] those[H3588] who[H3068] hate[H8130] you.[H3588]
9

You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.

You[H3605] will[H3027] make[H3027] them[H3027] as[H3605] a[H4672] fiery[H5135] furnace[H3564] in[H4672] the[H3605] time[H6256] of[H3027] your[H3605] anger.[H639] Yahweh[H3068] will[H3027] swallow[H1104] them[H3027] up[H3605] in[H4672] his[H3605] wrath.[H2534] The[H3605] fire[H784] shall[H3027] devour[H398] them.[H3027]
10

You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.

You[H6440] will[H3068] destroy[H1104] their[H3068] descendants[H2233] from[H6440] the[H6440] earth,[H776] their[H3068] posterity[H310] from[H6440] among[H8432] the[H6440] children[H1121] of[H3068] men.[H376]
11
For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.
For[H1121] they[H1992] intended[H2161] evil[H7451] against[H5921] you.[H2233] They[H1992] plotted[H2161] evil[H7451] against[H5921] you[H2233] which[H834] cannot[H3808] succeed.[H6743]
12
For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.
For[H3588] you[H3588] will[H7451] make[H2803] them[H5921] turn[H5186] their[H5921] back,[H5186] when[H3588] you[H3588] aim[H1245] drawn[H8025] bows[H7198] at[H5921] their[H5921] face.[H6440]
13

Be exalted, Yahweh, in your strength, so we will sing and praise your power.

Be[H6440] exalted,[H7311] Yahweh,[H3068] in[H5921] your[H5921] strength,[H5797] so[H3588] we[H3588] will[H3588] sing[H7891] and[H6440] praise[H3588] your[H5921] power.[H3559]
