Just, Before God
Millennial Battle
In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, fear came on me, and trembling, which made all my bones shake.
He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Then a spirit passed before my face. The hair of my flesh stood up. It stood still, but I couldn’t discern its appearance.
I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the sky, “Come! Be gathered together to the great supper of God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, small and great.”
A form was before my eyes.
I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse, and against his army.
Silence, then I heard a voice, saying, ‘Shall mortal man be more just than God?
The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
Shall a man be more pure than his Maker?
These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse, the sword which came out of his mouth. So all the birds were filled with their flesh.
Behold, he puts no trust in his servants. He charges his angels with error.
I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.
How much more, those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth!
I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them.

Spiritual Warfare: Millennial Battle

Strings reveal a deeper spiritual story at work within the words of the bible. We’re about to witness the great millennial battle scene in Revelation 19:16. Let’s compare it to the story in Job.
King of Kings
The revelation begins with Jesus, the King of Kings, which name is written on his garment. It’s quite clear who the passage is about. Jesus is the King of our souls, our white robes.
The voice on the left is not the King of Kings. He is, perhaps, the king of fear, the prince of darkness, the king of death.
Come
One angel stands in the sun. He cries out to all the birds in the sky, “Come!” In Revelations, birds are angels. Like a heavenly host — an angel army.
A spirit stands before the friend of Job. The hair on his flesh stands up. You can feel the presence of evil, even though it remains unseen.
The Revelation angel says to “Gather.” And, to “Eat” the flesh of kings, and the flesh of horses and those who sit on them.
Make War
I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, gathered to make war. An image stands before the friend of Job’s eyes.
They make war with him who sat on the horse, and his army. In Revelations, horses symbolize a throne. The beast and kings of earth make war with Jesus, who sits on a throne, and his angel army.
Our battle is against the forces of darkness. The spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. This war takes place in heaven. This battle is spiritual. Its result is eternal.
Seized
In the millennial battle scene, the beast is taken, or seized, along with the false prophet who deceives. I believe his voice is silenced.
Can mortal man be more just than God? No. Can spiritual man be just from God? Yes. Remember the multitudes who stand before the throne, clothed in white robes. Can spiritual man live forever in a place of eternity? Most definitely.
Lake of Fire
These two enemies, the voice of lies, are thrown into a lake of fire.
Revelations tells of four horsemen of the apocalypse. They go by the names “Death” and “Hades.” It brings to mind a verse from 1 Corinthians 15:54 and Isaiah 25:8.
Then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
I believe you can “eat up” the words of the bible. They become part of you. You can devour the story of Christ’s victory over a beast, a false prophet and four horsemen of the apocalypse.
“And all the birds were filled with their flesh.”
In my opinion, we are the birds in this story. An angel army who follows the King of Kings. Filled with victory.
Abyss
Now we see what happens to the angels whom God charges with error.
Another angel comes from heaven, with a great chain in his hand. He seizes the dragon – the serpent of old, who deceives the entire world. The angel binds Satan and casts him into the abyss – Hell. How fitting.
Remember what happens to the angel army in the Christmas scene? They go into heaven, not the other place.
Thrones
The Millennial battle scene began with Jesus, the “King of Kings,” a name written on his garment (soul). It ends with Jesus giving thrones and judgment – to us. He has made us to be a Kingdom. Death has no power over us. In Christ’s Kingdom, death is swallowed up in victory.
Satan says we dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, crushed before the moth. I don’t think so. Jesus makes our souls eternal. We have a place prepared in the House of God by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
We have a place in eternity. Satan does not.
Shattered
As I write these stories, I usually take a single passage (in this case, the vision in Job) and compare it to a variety of other passages. Because what follows has such clarity, I’m going to break that convention and scroll both passages forward.
Let’s look at the next part of Job, and the next part of Revelations, side by side. I believe it will shatter any doubt about the lies at work in the friend of Job.
